2018 BDGA Senior District Championship

Eligibility

This championship is open to male amateur golfers who meet the following requirements:

• Membership: Be a member of the BDGA, defined as either (1) belonging to an BDGA member club or (2) joining the BDGA as a 2018 BDGA Associate Member.
• Age: Be at least 50 years old as of May 20, 2018.
• Handicap Index: Have a USGA Handicap Index of no more than 12.0.

 

Divisions

There are three divisions in this championship that will compete from different sets of tees: Seniors (ages 50+), Legends Division (ages 60+) and Masters (ages 70+).

 

Field Size

The field will be limited to the first 51 players to register, with all additional players added to a wait list.

 

Entry Deadline

All entries must be received by the BDGA by 5:00pm on Tuesday, May 15, 2018. Entries wil not be accepted if they are late, incomplete, faxed, emailed, or submitted without full payment.

 

Format

18 holes of individual stroke play.

Golf Carts and Range

Payment for use of golf carts and the range is included in the entry fee.

 

Caddies

Caddies are permitted for this event.

 

Food & Beverage

Players will receive a complimentary meal from an event menu at the Clubhouse or Grill Room. The bar will be open for players, but NO CASH will be accepted. Players can charge their reciprocal club or use a credit/debit card if they wish to purchase beverages.

 

Practice Rounds

Practice rounds are available at Cherry Hill Club, but only for registered players.The green fee is $90+hst and the cart fee is $19+hst per player (Canadian dollars). To secure a practice round time, contact the club's pro shop at 905-894-0981 and identify yourself as player in this tournament.

 

Note: The club permits two (2) outside groups per day, so have several dates prepared before you call.

 

Awards

Awards will be given to the winner of each division Seniors (50+), Legends (60+), and Masters (70+).

 

Prizes

The top finishers in each division will earn gift certificates prizes redeemable in the host club pro shop.

 

Refund Policy

The entry fee will be refunded if a player withdraws prior to the close of entries, less a $10 service fee.
